Actually if you ever get a chance to read the book “The Imperial Cruise” you’ll find that Teddy would have fit in with today’s group quite well. But I find it strange that not a single modern repug will mention Ike.

Huh?
If I understand those two sentences, you say gun control does nothing, but you said it does prevent crime…which is it?
I haven’t lied about anything, particularly gun control.
And I’m a power hungry monster?
Actually, power is not my forte but aside from that — I have promoted sane guns laws on this website.

Never have I seen so many made-up statistics in one place. Simply amazing. The problem is not the NRA specifically. The real problem is the people in the NRA and yourself when you make up statistics or “interperate” statistics that you do not understand. (i.e. you lie about what the facts actually mean) Gun control is a laging statistic. It does nothing. It does prevent crime, as you lie about, and it does not promote crime, as the NRA lies about. It is only an indication of a greater problem that all power hungry monsters such as yourself use to promote your own agenda instead of actually trying to fix the problem. Shame on you!

I hope you catch old comments. One of your LOLGOP segments says that after Clinton’s impeachment the repugnant party stopped following the rules. Well its much older than that. Nixon and crew secretly negotiated with the Vietnamese and promised them (in their mind) war reparations that never came causing 1700 POWs to be left behind. The same trick St. Ronnie pulled by sending weapons to the Iranians so they’d hold the hostages until after the election to get rid of Carter.

Piers Morgan is a naturalized American citizen. He can’t be deported. But, why don’t we deport the nuts who want to deport him for exercising his 1st amendment rights? Guantanamo would be a good place. It is where we put terrorists….thus, the NRA would fit right in.

Hi,
I live in southwestern Vermont in a little town named Pownal. I can see New York to the west and Massachusetts to the south. My family has lived here since 1768. My ancestors came to Bost0n in the 1600′s. I tell people that we were in a dinghy being towed by the Mayflower. My ancestors fought in most of the wars we have had. There is a monument in Bennington, VT. It is the Bennington Battle Monument. I think members of my family stayed home for that one and the Civil War. I grew up in a family of hunters and gun owners. We owned a camp (hunting) on a 100 acre lot. After my Father died I owned the camp alone. Three years ago I sold the camp because I had not hunted or stayed at the camp for years. A camp near mine had a group of “gun enthusiasts” who spent week-ends blasting away with AK-47′s. I never went there after that and sold it.
I have owned guns all of my life. I had a 30-06 that I used for deer and target practice. An old single shot 22 and a 22/22 magnum revolver. I sold all of them except the 22 rifle. I haven’t shot it in 20 years. I never felt the need to have a machine gun. My father told me when I was 12 years old that it only takes one shot to kill something. If you miss you are not going to get a second chance anyway.
I was in the AIR FORCE for the Korean War and was issued a 30 caliber rifle (carbine). All of us that had guns at home deemed the carbine useless and we should just throw it at the enemy.
I am scaring my 82 second birthday in the eye. I have 3 grandchildren ages 14, 12 and 10. If the carnage that took place in CT happened here and one of my kids was a victim of the shootings I would have to just lay down and die. They are all smart and beautiful and live in a similar environment as the ones in CT. They were all born in Grenwich,CT hospital. Thank God they are living in Vermont.
