We should know that Bush is anticipating an even bigger mess because he keeps talking about the Truman legacy (rather than Nixon's) and repeatedly says he will be gone before any of this is settled in the Middle East. As far as I'm concerned, they staged 9/11, so anything is possible with this bunch. Bush, Cheney and company have committed one horrendous crime and treasonous felony after another. If ever anyone deserved to be not only impeached but jailed for their murderous and traitorous actions, it's the Neocons. They're handing impeachment to the Democrats on a silver platter. Unfortunately, impeachment will never occur because the Dems are too timid and too compromised by their own corruption. How quickly they forget why they were given control of Congress and by whom--us, the voters angry at the destruction of our country. It is entirely possible to look ahead to the future and implement progressive reforms AND conduct impeachment proceedings at the same time, but don't hold your breath. Cheney doesn't hesitate to drop the f-bomb, but most people still don't want to use another f-word to describe the Neocons--fascists. But this is exactly what we have growing like a cancer in our country--fascism. I've never voted for Nader because there is too much at stake, but he has always been spot-on in his observations. The people spoke and so far...NO ONE has listened. Empty promises, while they all bicker on. Unfortunately, the only ones who seem to have balls are Cheney and Bush. So busy telling other countries how they are to handle things, what a crock!!!! The United States has become a laughing stock and instead of a democracy, we have a dictatorship.
