review conduct after leak
MSNBC - 9-30-03
...It is a violation of law for officials to intentionally disclose the identity of a covert operative. The column by Novak came eight days after Wilson wrote a July 6 New York Times op-ed piece challenging President Bush’s claim that Iraq had tried to buy “yellowcake” uranium from Niger. Also on July 6, Wilson, who had gone to Niger to investigate at the CIA’s request, was quoted by The Washington Post as saying the administration was “misrepresenting the facts on an issue that was a fundamental justification for going to war.” Bush has since backed off the uranium claim....

Democrats Want Independent Probe of CIA Leak
Wouldn't it be a hoot if a conservative columnist and the CIA unwittingly brought down the Bush Evil Empire?

Subject: THE OIL SHORTAGE
There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have an
oil shortage here in America.
Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil.
We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely

Email from Anita Beer
What trouble are you trying to stir up? Don't go there.
As far as Bartcop not sending stickers--he probably is just delayed, overworked and will surely get to it someday. Bartcop has always treated me with utmost respect and often, kind words. Just keep emailing him--heavens knows how often my mailbox gets full and email does get lost (I have 700+ waiting to be read right this moment) I feel his pain.
Send me the snail mail addresses of those who wrote you about not getting Bartcop stickers and I will send them an AllHatNoCattle sticker for free! Democrats worth their salt stick together, through thick and thin.
I leaked the story about your rehab. Sorry.

As a professional journalist with 46
years experience in Washington, I do not reveal confidential sources. When I
called the CIA in July, they confirmed Mrs. Wilson's involvement in a mission
for her husband on a secondary basis, who is -- he is a former Clinton
administration official. *They asked me not to use her name, but never indicated
it would endanger her or anybody else.
According to a confidential source at the CIA, Mrs. Wilson was an analyst, not a spy, not a covert operative, and not in charge of undercover operatives. So what is the fuss about, pure Bush-bashing?-Robert Novak (Thug Journalist)
*Gee, I wonder if Novak's source at the CIA is still leaking info to Novak, since Novak did not honor his request. The CIA does keep a record of everyone called, in and out. Tenet knows if the leak did come from the CIA.
"The president's popularity took a nose dive lately. It's at 49 percent, the lowest point ever. He says he is not down-hearted about it, he says 'Look the election is just a year away and remember I only need one less vote than the other guy.'" —Bill Maher
Neptune has spots. The Solar System's outermost gas giant shows a nearly uniform blue hue created by small amounts of methane drifting in a thick atmosphere of nearly colorless hydrogen and helium. Dark spots do appear, however, that are : large high-pressure systems that swirl in Neptune's cold cloud tops. Two dark spots are visible in the above picture taken by the robot Voyager 2 spacecraft in 1989: an Earth-sized Great Dark Spot located on the far left, and Dark Spot 2 located near bottom. A bright cloud dubbed Scooter accompanies the Great Dark Spot. Recent computer simulations indicate that scooters are methane clouds that might commonly be found near dark spots.
