What is Fox News?

A Saudi royal prince is, after Rupert Murdoch and his family, the second largest investor in NewsCorp., the company that runs Fox News, employs Palin and Gingrich and Glenn Beck and which recently gave a million dollar donation to the Republican Party.
Business urges action to lift Cuba travel ban
...In an op-ed for Foreign Policy, former Bush official Suhail Khan says that the anti-Muslim flames being stoked by the likes of Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich ó already being used as a recruitment tool by jihadists overseas

While Republicans Whine About Everything, Carter Is In North Korea
Carter, on a rare trip by a Western dignitary, was greeted at an official ceremony at Pyongyang airport by North Korean vice foreign minister and nuclear envoy Kim Kye-Gwan, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said.

Subject: NYC Mosque Mania
I don't get it why people are against a mosque being built near ground zero. It is anti-American to do so. What is wrong with people?
Al in Alabama
I think it is as simple as lack of revenge for 9-11. Bush never got Osama bin Laden "Dead or Alive" as he bellowed to America he would and instead he invaded Iraq and got Saddam and no WMDs. Plus the media, especially FoxNews, inflames people. I keep hearing people say, "They have the right to build a mosque anywhere but it is an insensitive slap in the face to build it near ground zero." I say to that, "Isn't it a slap in the face to New York City Muslims to insinuate that they had anything to do with 9-11.?"
Talk about Ugly Americans.
When you think about it, almost half the people in this country were willing to put Sarah Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency. Shudder. And half of Republicans think Obama is a Muslim. So, in my humble opinion half this country suffers from a mental disorder based on an inability to absorb simple facts i.e.
Obama's birth certificate or that Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11.
And Obama can't magically make eight years of Bush and the Republicans financial rape of America disappear in two years.
The flag pin wearers in this country are angry and selfish and they want an instant solution to the problems their party created.
We've got a long way to go, baby.

Playing The Reverse Racism Card
Glenn Beck says he didn't intend to schedule a rally Saturday in front of the Lincoln Memorial on the anniversary of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. But it's a convergence of time and place that the conservative talk show host describes as "divine providence."

Macho Man PR
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin fired darts from a crossbow at a gray whale off
Russia's Far Eastern coast on Wednesday in the latest in a series of
man-versus-nature stunts designed to cultivate the image of a macho leader.
Putin held his balance in a rubber boat that was being tossed around in choppy waters off the Kamchatka Peninsula, and eventually hit the whale with a special arrow designed to collect skin samples.

Japans Ozawa Thinks Americans Are Simple Minded
A key figure in Japan's
ruling party dubbed Americans "simple-minded" in a speech to fellow lawmakers
It was not clear what prompted the remarks by Democratic Party heavyweight Ichiro Ozawa at a political seminar, in which he otherwise paid tribute to Americans' commitment to democracy, saying it was something Japan should learn from.
"I like Americans, but they are somewhat monocellular," the former Democratic Party leader said. "When I talk with Americans, I often wonder why they are so simple-minded."
