I wonder how many of the 1100 escaped Afghan prisoners participated in this Taliban surge? What a mess Bush has made of not one but two wars.
The Bush gifts just keep on giving: 73,000 home foreclosures in May; 261,255 total. The good news: tent industry soars. - Grant Gerver, www.seriouskidding.com

President Bush said Monday that the United States can help calm the "testy situation" between Afghanistan and Pakistan, but he refused to endorse Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai's threat to send troops across the border as a means to target terrorists.

"President Bush is now in Europe. Again, you know, we like President Bush. I just don't think he has a real grasp of history. Did you see him in Berlin yesterday? He said, 'Am I crazy, or did there used to be a wall?'" --Jay Leno

"Barack
Obama surprised a bunch of students in Chicago yesterday when he showed up
unannounced at an eighth grade graduation. Gave a speech at the eighth grade
graduation, pretty cool. Now, don't confuse that with President Bush's
appearance last year at an eighth grade graduation. He was just there getting a
diploma." --Jay Leno

Rock-The-Voter News
Lisa, great forum, I love it. Been following you from time to time for the last 5 years. I find it odd, though, that you would support a candidate that is willing to tax the living heck out of your means in life. What is really insane, and you don't cover, is the fact that this energy crunch we are going through, can be overcome, by not lobbying, or supporthig either of these(Red and Blue) candidates. Are you really as my friends say, a Marxist? You remind me more of a communist. John McInsane sucks. But, Obama, he's insane. But, what do we choose from. I frankly, thought Hillary Clinton was the best choice; save Mitt Romney.
Marxist? Communist? Me? Naw, I'm your everyday gun toting female Democrat. And proud of it.
I fully support alternative fuels such as bottling all that hot air spewing out of Washington.
You supported Romney and Clinton? Oh, I get it, this is a joke email!
Thanks for the laugh!

If there's pain at the
pump in the U.S., Mexico may just have a remedy. A gallon of regular unleaded
gasoline in San Diego retails for an average price of $4.61 a gallon.
A few miles south, in Tijuana, it's about $2.54 — even less if you pay in pesos.

Bush-Prison-Torture News
"Well, another defeat for President Bush today. It seems that the Supreme Court ruled that detainees at Guantanamo Bay can file legal challenges to their detention. President Bush is very bitter about this. He said he may have lost, but it was a deeply divided Court that voted 5-4. It was 5-4. You know, the same vote that made him president -- 5-4." --Jay Leno

Thanks to all the tornadoes, hurricanes and cyclones blamed on global warming, people stay tuned to the Weather Channel for the same reason they watched CBS News every night during the Cold War, you never know if this day is going to be your last. - Argus Hamilton
