Among Republicans, Powell, Cheney and Limbaugh are equally revered with favorability ratings in the 60s, according to a new CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll.

But among all voters questioned, Powell has a favorability rate of 70 percent compared to 30 percent for Limbaugh. A poll a week ago found that Cheney had a favorability rate of 37 percent.

"Colin Powell is not the guy you want to pick a fight with," Schneider said. "He's more popular than Dick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh combined.

I didn't see this on your site: Joe Scarborough, the former Republican congressman from Florida who hosts hours of political talk on MSNBC each morning, says the former independent governor of Minnesota and big-time wrestler is fighting out of his weight class in the torture debate.

Ventura "should stop smoking whatever he's been smoking,'' Scarborough said at the anchor's desk of his Morning Joe show. "It seriously should be a crime, to be that dumb on TV.''

Jesse Ventura served our country as a Navy Seal, Joe Scarborough never joined the military, he served himself instead.

Why is MSNBC keeping this right wing hack on their channel all these years? MSNBC finally booted Tucker Carlson as a host because he stunk. Joe is worse. He must have a foot in some door there on MSNBC...what do you think?

Morning Joe is pretty much a copy of the very successful IMUS show it replaced. Same guests, Barnicle, etc... Same format...During the news delivery, Joe interrupts, comments just like IMUS has done for decades. Joe's staff kisses up to him, Mika, his co-host became Meeka and Willie Geist became Wet Willie. Just like IMUS' sidekicks. It's not a pretty sight but I think MSNBC actually thinks Joe is intelligent and astute. And he is for a conservative, but that's not a compliment considering the direction conservatives have taken this country. With Joe helping to lead the way.

As far as Scarborough denigrating Jesse Ventura, I bet Jesse could waterboard Scarborough and get him to confess that he is really Monica Lewinsky in 30 seconds.

Issues aside, Joe's inflammatory language bothers me. He vehemently attacks anyone who doesn't share his opinion. He's smug, sarcastic and insulting. It's school yard name-calling and has no place in a real debate.
MSNBC should cancel Morning Joe in favor of someone who can offer real Republican viewpoints.
