"Anybody here from Arizona? They have that new tough immigration law, and they
say now because they're getting a lot of reaction, they're saying it isn't
targeted to Mexicans. The immigration law, they said, is not about keeping
Mexicans south of the border. As a matter of fact, they had a crew out today of
government agents looking for Dutch people." –David Letterman

George W. Bush, got his new memoir coming out in November, and it’s called “Decision Points.” It’s about big decisions in his life. And I’ve already made a decision not to buy “Decision Points.” - David Letterman
China Should Hire Rupert Murdoch, Creator of Fox News
BEIJING – China's biggest national news agency announced plans Friday to launch its global, English-language television news network this week, part of efforts to expand the communist government's media influence abroad.
Suddenly, everything changed.
For days, as an oil spill spread in the Gulf of Mexico, BP assured the government the plume was manageable, not catastrophic. Federal authorities were content to let the company handle the mess while keeping an eye on the operation.
But then government scientists realized the leak was five times larger than they had been led to believe, and days of lulling statistics and reassuring words gave way Thursday to an all-hands-on-deck emergency response.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger would love to run for
president — if he could.
California's actor-turned-governor was born in Austria and the U.S. Constitution prevents foreign-born citizens from holding the nation's top job.

Democrats Lose Senior Support
Democrats have glimpsed
their biggest threat this fall, and she is Grandma.
One reason President Barack Obama and other party leaders are rolling out campaigns this week to energize young and minority voters for November's elections is that they've seen the polling data on senior citizens, and it's ugly.

Subject: I've got a feeling
Just played your
"I've Gotta Feeling" video and
am glad to hear you're feeling that good. I'm curious;
were you the woman in the blue dress who started dancing
and got all those other people on their feet who started dancing?
On a more serious note, it was great logging on to http://www.allhatnocattle.net
and seeing one of your updates. You are indeed a treasure to us all, Lisa!
Keep getting better and keep up the great work you do.
Thank you Alan.
I believe everyone who has ended their chemo treatments felt the same as I did.
Sometime in the next two months I will receive 28 days of radiation. And that should end the treatments. Fingers crossed.
I don't quite have the energy yet to dance like that woman. I danced like Oprah did, though!
I love that video.
Thanks to you Alan and all the wonderful AHNC viewers I am so lucky to have.
Tiger Cheating Takes New Turn
Tiger Woods emphatically denies that he has ever used performance-enhancing drugs, but almost a quarter of PGA Tour players surveyed by Sports Illustrated don't believe him. Of 71 PGA Tour players surveyed, 24 percent said they thought Woods "used HGH or other performance-enhancing drugs." Seventy-six percent said they believed that Woods did not take any PEDs.
