Bono calls Blair 'wrong'
Expatica, Netherlands - 2-28-03
... He is sincere in his convictions about Iraq, but in my opinion he is
sincerely wrong," the lead singer of U2 told reporters in Paris. ...
Bono's eloquent comments should be heeded by the war hungry.
The Best Allies Money Can Buy
By Stewart Nusbaumer Interventionmag.com
Wars create strange bedfellows, backstabbing friends, and really weird politics; unnecessary wars such as with Iraq even more so. But allies can always be bought.
Question: Is a US Veteran unpatriotic if he is against the impending Iraq War?

Dumber or Dumber?
I can't figure out who is more arrogantly dumb, Jeb or W? Tough choice. Any suggestions?
Jeb is trying to shut down our state archives library. Jeb wants to turn over the state archives to a private college in humidity/mold ridden Ft. Lauderdale -- 650 miles from the state capital. I would think the state employees in Tallahassee would need access to the library more than Ft. Lauderdale.
What a dopey destructive idea. He ruined our budget in Florida -- he was in deep trouble pre 9-11. Now his solution is to get rid of history.
That's our Bush!
NOTES FROM BEYOND THE PALE
You all certainly remember the "Bush Knew" controversy from last year, when Rupert Murdoch's New York Post ran that headline in page length lettering on their front page. Think about that. Murdoch is a neo-con autocratic thug whom many Aussies believe actually runs their Government and the Post is a neo-con rag. So why would the New York Post allow a writer to run with that story? Any number of writers at supposedly "liberal" newspapers would be more likely suspects - and even they would have a hard time getting it by the editor. Consider the far right slant of this newspaper that openly vilifies opponents of Bush as traitors and so blatantly displays their biased ignorance towards foreign countries opposed to the impending Slaughter in Iraq.
I'm going to war!

According to Democrats.com co-founder Bob Fertik, "George Bush said
several times this week that Iraq's destruction of its Al Samoud 2
missiles would not be sufficient to prevent war, because they are 'just
the tip of the iceberg.' But earlier this week, Newsweek revealed that the
former head of Iraq's weapons programs told UN inspectors and the CIA in
1995 that Iraq had destroyed all weapons of mass destruction after the
Gulf War in 1991," Fertik said.
