POPPY’S REVENGE — HIS ‘BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN’

By Don Davis

Email

Subject: Next President?

Lisa,

Thank you so much for keeping us sane thru the elections. I'm so very happy Diebold elected Dems after all!

My bet is John McCain will be the GOP pick. And Hillary is the GOP pick for the Democrats. I like Hillary but women are not held in high esteem in our crazy political world, so I'm unsure if she could be elected. What do you think? I want someone with deep experience in the military to get us out of this mess Bush made Who do you think will be the Democratic pick?

Jill - proud military wife

Wouldn't it be nice to have a president with an impressive resume instead of President Toga Party.

Wes Clark sure has an impressive resume.  I highly recommend watching the video provided below this email. He reveals a lot of inside information about Wolfowitz and how the neocon lead-up to this war actually started in the early 1990s. It's a chilling seven minutes. CNN should be showing this

I admire Hillary. I was very disappointed she voted for the war, and I'm over it, because she was deceived along with the rest of us. Her Senate record is centrist. I also admire her for standing by her man. She loves Bill along with the rest of us.

Vice president Barack Obama has a nice ring to it, eh?

          Bolted Out

"I see no point in considering Mr Bolton's nomination again in the Foreign Relations Committee because regardless of what happens there,

he is unlikely to be considered by the full Senate," said Joseph Biden, senior Democrat on that committee.

Disturbing News

Still Kicking Habeas Corpus

Guantanamo Bay prisoners could soon lose access to their lawyers - one of their only contacts with the outside world - because of a new law that eliminates their right to challenge their detention in civilian courts, the lawyers fear.

President Bush sounded semi-rational and connected with reality the morning after the election. It's amazing how a good spanking will focus the mind. - Zing!

Return to the Scene of the Crime

Imagine Osama bin Laden visiting the United States ten or 15 years from now, telling Americans who to vote for if they want to avoid getting hurt. It would never happen, but in Nicaragua something very similar happened in the run-up to their election on November 5.

Former U.S. Lt. Col. Oliver North, who helped organize and raise funds for a terrorist organization that decimated Nicaragua in the 1980s, returned to that country's ground zero in late October to warn the citizens there against re-electing Daniel Ortega.

"Donald Rumsfeld has been let go. Insiders describe Rumsfeld's reaction as shocked and awed. How does that make Rumsfeld feel when George Bush tells you you're not competent enough?." --Jay Leno

Torturous Repercussions

Just days after his resignation, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is about to face more repercussions for his involvement in the troubled wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. New legal documents, to be filed next week with Germany's top prosecutor, will seek a criminal investigation and prosecution of Rumsfeld, along with Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, former CIA director George Tenet and other senior U.S. civilian and military officers, for their alleged roles in abuses committed at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison and at the U.S. detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
