Is there such a thing as "mass impeachment"?

It's that simple. In fact, FISA was enacted in 1978 to avoid just this sort of abuse. It said that the government could not spy on Americans by reading their mail (or now their e-mail) or listening to their telephone conversations without obtaining a warrant from a special court created for this purpose. The court has approved tens of thousands of warrants over the years and rejected a handful.
The Senate Judiciary Committee is about to start hearings on the domestic spying…

"Inspiring developments -- Democracy is on the march in the Middle East. Yesterday, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians hit the polls for the first time of parliamentary elections in ten years. Which democratically elected party walked away victorious? Oh, it's Hamas! Yes, Hamas the militant Islamic group that is very anti-American and calls for the destruction of Israel, and wants a theocracy in Palestine. Though, on the plus side, they have returned all the money given to them by Jack Abramoff." --Jon Stewart

Subject: Nashville Protest
Hey Lisa,
We are planning to express some righteous rage with a protest when Bushie appears in Nashville, the morning after his SOTU performance. It would be great if you could help us spread the word. The weather is beautiful in Nashville right now, perfect for a big turnout to let the Spying Crook-in-Chief know how America feels about him.
Details and updates as needed are here:

Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give.
I always enjoy your kick-ass site!

Thanks for writing.
Good for you and all the protestors.
Bush has yet to be met by adoring cheering crowds in the streets of America (and the rest of the world). It's comforting to know you'll keep it that way.
Thank you.
